CLASS OPTIONS AND PRICING
Fall 2021 sessions
We offer 12-week semester sessions.
Classes are either taught via Zoom or in-person locations in Chicago.
Rates are set at $25/hr online and $30/hr in person.
Additional registration and materials fee may apply.
Why are our pricing not based on grade levels?
It's a common misconception that lower grade math is simple and is therefore easier to teach. Math concepts such as addition, multiplication and fractions may seem basic, but they are extremely abstract to young students and need to be taught by skilled teachers with a strong math background. Our pricing reflects our attitude of putting in the same amount of work and effort across all grade levels when we teach.

Grades 3-5
We work with your child to gain a deeper understanding in abstract concepts and for them to communicate one's reasoning with confidence.
Class length: 2 hr
Grades 6-8
We help your child lay the foundations to higher order algebra and geometry in preparation for advanced level mathematics.
Class length: 2.5 hrs
Can my child sit through 1.5 - 2.5 hours of class?
Absolutely! And we guarantee that your child will not get bored! Our classes are dynamic and interactive. Your child will be fully engaged with visual and hands-on activities, and they will be switching tasks every 15-20 minutes.
There are NO lectures or worksheet drilling here!
Why should my child sit through such a long class?
Your child will likely have to sit through 2-3 hours of standardized testing starting from 3rd grade. Based on our experience, one of the most common challenges that children face in math is not the content or their ability to solve questions, but instead is their ability to concentrate and sit through a test. In addition to teaching your child math, our classes are designed to help them perform well in tests so that they have more educational opportunities in the future.
