SINGAPORE'S MATH CURRICULUM
INTERNATIONALLY RANKED #1
Singapore has consistently ranked at the top of international assessments such as TIMSS and PISA, while the U.S. averages at least 10 countries behind.
Singapore's math curriculum has been available in U.S. markets since 2001 and is used widely in schools and homeschooling communities across the country. There are three variations of the curriculum in the U.S.:
1. Primary Mathematics - original program designed in Singapore that has been adapted into three editions in the U.S.
2. Math in Focus - American version of My Pals are Here! series used in Singapore
3. Dimensions Math - created and designed in the U.S. by Singapore Math Inc.

The model drawing method was developed in the late 1980s by a team of Singaporean researchers to help elementary school students solve word problems. It doubles as a visualization tool to strengthen conceptual understanding of the four operations, fractions, ratios, and other math topics.
